The Philippines has 380,000 new graduates each
year, but only 15,000 are focused on technology studies. Research indicates
that the Philippines lack the management skills to run the offshore company.
Therefore, most Philippine offshore company that are successful have the
western partner deal with the management. The Philippines stands out as having
a particularly good telecom infrastructure with reliable domestic and
interisland service because of the US military bases there.[1]
The transportation system within the Philippines is relatively good. There are
private and public transportation systems, which include jeepney, bus, airplane
and ship. Within the Philippines the political climate is very stable however
there is corruption.
