Offshoring Of Legal Specialized Knowledge

Before a lawyer invest time, resources in the offshoring of legal specialized
knowledge, the lawyer must verify that the offshore provider possesses
general legal knowledge and has experience working with Western lawyers.
If the provider has no general legal knowledge and has no Western private
practice experience, the lawyer should not do business with such a provider.
As to the offshore provider, its owner and core team must have the following
general legal knowledge:
1. LPO Ethics
2. The U.S. Judicial System On The Federal And State Level
3. The Federal Rules Of Civil Procedure
4. The Federal Appellate Rules
5. The Function And Purpose Of Local Rules And Judge Rules
6. The Common Law Concept Of Liability Forming Conduct As To
Torts, Contracts And Criminal Law
7. Abacus Usage
8. Computer And Internet Skills
9. Effective Oral And Written Communication Skills
