WASHINGTON Part 36

3

Prepare yourself for getting in front of a judge by knowing ahead of time what to expect. The judge will examine your case against the respondent and decide whether or not a temporary restraining order should be put in place. If the judge decides to put a temporary restraining order in place, it will be in place until a hearing is set for the respondent to present her case. The judge will then decide if the restraining order will be extended or if it will be lifted.
