Go to your county courthouse to file the restraining order paperwork. A courthouse clerk specializing in restraining orders will be available to help you fill out the proper paperwork and then file it with the court. This is where having all the information about the respondent prepared ahead of time is so valuable. The courthouse clerk will be able to provide you the best help possible with the more information you have about the respondent.
