The bar associations do not give any guidance
on how a lawyer exercises direct supervisory authority, how to make sourcing
decisions and how to decide what processes are best suited for outsourcing.
In 2005 Aron and Singh noted:
1. Most companies do not take sufficient time
deciding what processes should be offshored.
2. Most companies do not fully consider the risks
associated with offshoring.
3. Most companies do not understand there is a
range of sourcing models.
