2. Implement a knowledge transfer methodology: Codifying knowledge
is the key practice here. TMS’s onsite team provides documentation based
on standard templates and passes these templates on to the offshore team.
But this is only the first step. The offshore team then has to “play back”
what they learned from the documentation by giving presentations to the
onsite team. Again, while codified knowledge is useful, what is more
difficult involves the transferring of tacit knowledge, which can only be
obtained through learning by doing.
