The Attractiveness Of Offshoring In The Philippines

The purposes of this article are to give an
objective view of a country's attractiveness for outsourcing and to assert that
the Philippines, in particular Carmona, should be considered a Tier 1 country
as to legal processing.
Tier 1 countries possess the skills to perform
complex task and have strong management functionality. Tier 1 countries include
Brazil, Russia, India and China.
Tier 2 countries possess the skills to perform
simple and repetitive tasks, perform semi-complex tasks and have moderate management
functionality. Tier 2 countries include Singapore, Indonesia and Eastern Europe
(former Soviet Union) nations.
Tier 3 countries possess the skills to perform
simple and repetitive tasks and have weak management. Tier 3 countries include
South American nations like Mexico and Asian nations like Vietnam and the
Philippines.
