Write up any notes and analysis you have about the respondent who you wish to file a restraining order against. You, as the petitioner, will have to show a trend of negative behavior or actions by the respondent in front of a judge in order for them to grant a temporary restraining order. The more information you have on hand before you file a restraining order the better.
