INSURANCE
Life Insurance. If your spouse has a life insurance policy
at the time of the divorce, you can ask the Judge to order your spouse to make
the children the beneficiaries. This would protect the children in case
something happens to your spouse and your spouse is not able to help support
the children in the future. If you have a life insurance policy, talk to your
lawyer about this and whether or not you should change the beneficiary.
