NEVADA Part 20

I have primary custody and I want to move myself and my son to California, what do I do?

Relocation is a difficult proposition.  It is important to follow the rules and think ahead before you take any action.  As part of any custody or divorce decree, there is a mandatory provision that you must seek written permission to relocate from the noncustodial parent, in accordance with the statute.  If the noncustodial parent refuses permission, you can seek a court order.
