Will the relative affluence of the parents affect the
decision?
Although wealth is only be one factor, a wealthy parent may
be perceived as able to offer a better education and opportunities. As anyone
would expect, however, the more devoted parent who sacrifices and makes time
for a child will almost always prevail over a wealthy parent who values a
career over the child. In these situations, priorities become the central
issue.
