TENNESSEE Part 91

5.      What do we need to do to get TRO?

Tennessee restraining orders are used by victims of domestic violence and threats. When a judge hands down one of these protective orders, the abuser is generally ordered to stay away from the victim and avoid all contact. Although a Tennessee restraining order does not necessarily stop the behavior all by itself, it allows a victim to call the police and get an abuser arrested for any and all violations of the protective order.
