1.      What do we need to get a divorce?

When getting a divorce in Texas you might find very many laws different then in other states. Getting a divorce in Texas means making sure that the District court has jurisdiction over your case. To get a divorce in Texas you must live in Texas for at least 6 months and must also be in one county for at least 90 days. You must meet both requirements to be able to get a divorce.
