TEXAS Part 49

What happens if we cannot agree on the amount of child support?

If the parents cannot agree on the amount of child support in Texas, a judge can order one or both parents to provide medical support and pay child support under the Texas Child Support Guidelines.  Most likely, however, the judge will request the parents try to agree to an amount before doing that.  Mediation is a good resource for working through those decisions.
