OHIO Part 13

Has a court already issued a proper custody order? If so a “reallocation” will need to be made”, if not an “allocation” will need to be made. Essentially, there are 5 situations.

If you are an unmarried female, and a court has never issued a proper custody order I have good news. Under Ohio law (ORC 3109.042), you are the “sole residential parent and legal custodian of the child”. And you didn’t even have to do anything. How about that? That doesn’t mean the situation cannot change, however.
